Our Story

In 1981, Ed and Barbara Graubart opened their dream business when they purchased Windrift Kennel.

Their love for animals was apparent with their own menagerie of dogs, cats and horses.

It was only natural that they put that special expertise to work.

As a result, Windrift Kennel is a true labor of love. Each dog has its own private area with an inside and outside run that is air conditioned and heated. Cats stay in a separate, private area of the kennel. All meals are provided and all areas are kept meticulously clean.

The staff loves animals, of course, but it is equally important that they love mops, jokes Ed. In fact, what distinguishes this kennel from others is their hands-on personal approach. There’s no extra charge for TLC!

SECURITY

Windrift Kennels is securely triple-fenced to ensure your pet’s safety with a double-fence around the kennel and a perimeter fence around the entire facility.  All staff members are trained to ensure your pets’ safe-keeping and Ed and Barbara live right on-site so they can check regularly on all of the animals.
